LN was first developed by the Dutch firm Baan Corporation, quickly gaining a solid reputation as a solution built for complex, global, project-driven manufacturers. After a series of transitions, it was acquired by Infor in 2006 when it was enhanced with a modern architecture and extended with deeper industry capabilities.
