Infor SyteLine history

SyteLine was originally created by Symix as a flexible ERP for discrete manufacturers and later evolved through the Frontstep and MAPICS brands to support engineertoorder, maketoorder, and mixedmode production. After acquiring the solution in 2005, Infor modernised it with new technologies, updated interfaces, and cloud capabilities. This progression led to Infor CloudSuite Industrial, the cloudbased evolution of SyteLine ERP into a full suite.

Today, Infor SyteLine and Infor CloudSuite Industrial form the core foundation of Infor’s manufacturing solutions, supporting industries such as industrial manufacturing, food and beverage, automotive, and aerospace and defence.
