Built to execute, not just advise: AI innovations in the Infor 2026.10 release

Infor_3D Platform Image_Library_Dark_06.jpg

Most enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) stops at the recommendation. It surfaces an insight and waits for someone to act. The agentic enterprise works differently: agents and people operate as one coordinated system, executing work under human oversight. The distinction that matters is whether AI is built to execute, not just advise.

Infor™ is an industry AI company. Our applications, data models and agents were built for specific industries and micro-verticals from the start, because an agent is only as good as the industry context behind it. An agent that does not know what a bill of materials means in aerospace is just a faster way to be wrong.

The AI innovations in the Infor 2026.10 release strengthen AI governance, expand Infor Industry AI Agents, broaden access to trusted knowledge through the Infor Generative AI (GenAI) Public Knowledge Hub and introduce new Infor GenAI Embedded Experiences.

AI governance is the innovation that makes the rest possible

Scaling AI depends on trust. As agents gain access to enterprise data and participate in business processes, every agent and human action needs to be auditable, traceable and compliant by default.

With the 2026.10 release, Infor is extending AI governance capabilities within Infor Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) so organisations can govern AI initiatives alongside traditional business risk. Governance is only half the foundation. Agents inherit the quality of the data beneath them, which is why trusted data and governance have to advance together. Together, they are what allow organisations to let agents act.

Why these agents can be trusted to act

The difference between a precise agent and a generic one is the data model, not prompt engineering. A procurement agent in a hospital weighs Food and Drug Administration (FDA) compliance and supply continuity. In automotive, it prioritises supplier performance against just-in-time schedules. In food and beverage, it factors in shelf life. It is the same role, but with three different definitions of a good decision.

Infor CloudSuite™ solutions and industry data models are built together, so an Infor Industry AI Agent inherits your industry's logic on day one. That precision is what makes it reasonable to let an agent complete work rather than only suggest it.

Infor Industry AI Agents, built to execute

Infor Industry AI Agents are expanding across enterprise resource planning (ERP), finance, supply chain, customer service, analytics, human resources (HR) and process operations. These agents execute routine work end to end inside governed approval workflows, bringing a person in at the decision points that warrant judgement. Users access all of them through Infor GenAI Assistant, which provides one experience for engaging with applications, business processes and trusted Infor knowledge. Here are the new role-based, domain-specific AI agents for this release:

Infor LN-based CloudSuite solutions

  • Manufacturing Agent: Pinpoints the constraints holding back throughput, quality and delivery, then recommends and initiates corrective action.
  • Supply Chain Agent: Adjusts planning decisions against live demand, supply and inventory signals, resolving imbalances before they reach the floor.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Agent: Assembles customer and relationship intelligence into next best actions and updates account records as engagement changes.
  • Procurement Agent: Evaluates supplier performance and purchasing activity, flags sourcing risk and drives follow-up with the suppliers responsible.
  • Logistics Agent: Tracks shipments and inventory movements, escalates exceptions and closes visibility gaps across the supply chain.
  • Service Agent: Resolves service exceptions as they surface, routes work to the right resource and keeps execution on schedule.
  • Financials Agent: Compiles financial performance analysis and accelerates reporting, shortening the path from question to reportable answer.
  • Sales Order Agent: Monitors order execution, identifies fulfilment risk and triggers the corrections that protect the promise date.
  • Engineering Agent: Accelerates product development by turning engineering changes, product data and lifecycle performance into actionable next steps.
  • Quality Inspection Agent: Catches quality issues and non-conformances early and initiates containment to reduce operational risk.
  • Project Agent: Tracks project performance, margins, costs and risks, and surfaces the interventions that keep projects profitable.
  • Common Master Data Agent: Validates and governs enterprise master data, correcting inconsistencies before they propagate.

Infor Process Mining, as part of Infor Process Intelligence
Process intelligence stops being a reporting exercise and converts operational insight into actionable decisions. Two new mining agents turn process data into a live operating picture and a way to act on it.

  • Monitoring Agent: Watches live operations and narrates deviations, compliance breaches and root causes in plain language as they occur, not weeks later in a report.
  • Advisor Agent: Answers questions about process performance, such as whether a process is slowing, where costs are hiding or what is driving delays.

Infor M3-based CloudSuite solutions

  • Financial Accounting Agent: Analyses bank accounts, general ledger activity, and goods-received-not-invoiced reconciliation to support financial control and period close.
  • Configuration Agent: Manages M3 configuration and feature settings to control enabled capabilities and application behaviour.

Infor CloudSuite Distribution for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs)

  • Quoting Agent: Builds quotes using natural language, retrieves customer and product information, applies pricing and discounts and converts the quote into an order.
  • Purchasing Agent: Tracks purchase orders, catches late deliveries, traces order dependencies, updates procurement details and generates supplier follow-up communication.
  • Customer Agent: Turns customer activity and purchasing patterns into recommended actions and updates account information as it goes.
  • Vendor Agent: Scores vendor performance against payment history, invoice status, returns, lead times, and fulfilment metrics and flags relationships that need attention.
  • Product Agent: Resolves availability questions across warehouse inventory, sourcing options, order history, and cost and recommends the best fulfilment path.

Infor Configure Price Quote (CPQ)

  • Quoting Search Agent: Retrieves quotes, configurations, pricing information and related sales documents using natural language, replacing manual document hunting.
  • Quote Builder Agent: Generates quotes and reconciles revisions to shorten sales cycles and eliminate quoting errors.

Infor Supply Chain Planning

  • Scheduling Agent: Answers questions about the active production schedule, surfacing batch timing, changeover windows and order flow details to speed scheduling decisions.
  • Shift Report Agent: Generates structured shift handover reports from a reusable, administrator-configured template, keeping shift transitions consistent without manual report writing.

Infor Enterprise Performance Management

  • Financial Consolidation Agent: Drafts consolidation journals and stages them for review, compressing the financial close while keeping governance and approval controls fully intact.

Infor Financials and Supply Management

  • Bank Reconciliation Agent: Reconciles bank statements automatically, matching transactions with AI and creating match rules from recurring patterns to shorten reconciliation cycles.
  • Invoice Match Agent: Links invoices to purchase orders and surfaces match exceptions as they arise, helping accounts payable (AP) teams resolve discrepancies faster and pay suppliers on time.
  • Period Close Agent: Releases and posts journals, closes general ledger (GL) periods for ready entities and tracks reconciliation status to accelerate a confident, on-time close.
  • Funding Source Agent: Monitors funded balances, budget thresholds and end dates across funding sources to prevent overspending and protect every available dollar.
  • Lease Agent: Delivers a complete view of lease terms, payments, modifications and assets to simplify lease management and support accurate financial reporting.
  • Buyer Agent: Surfaces buyer messages and supplier acknowledgments that need attention, helping buyers act quickly on exceptions and keep orders moving.

Infor Birst

  • Analytics Agent: Answers business questions from enterprise data, explains the drivers behind performance and delivers insight in a form someone can act on immediately.

Infor GenAI Public Knowledge Hub accessible to all

Infor is expanding access to the Infor GenAI Public Knowledge Hub, making trusted Infor knowledge available to all customers through Infor GenAI Assistant. Users can access product documentation, user guides, release reports and other published knowledge without searching across multiple sources. Answers are grounded in published Infor content rather than a model's best guess. Bringing enterprise knowledge and Infor Industry AI Agents into a single experience shortens the distance between a question, an answer and the action that follows.

Infor GenAI Embedded Experiences in the flow of work

Not everything should be conversational. When someone needs to approve a quote, they should see the bill of materials, the price and the delivery date in one place rather than navigating ten screens.

That is the principle behind Infor's adaptive enterprise experience: role-specific, exception-based, insight-infused, actionable and conversational where conversation is the right interface. Infor GenAI Embedded Experiences deliver that inside the applications employees already use, generating content, surfacing insight and completing tasks without pulling anyone out of their workflow.

Infor Birst

  • Dashboard Builder: Builds complete dashboards from a natural language prompt, generating the key performance indicators (KPIs), visualisations, filters and layout.
  • Saved Expression Summarisation: Produces plain-language explanations of metrics and calculations to improve understanding and knowledge sharing.

Infor Data Fabric

  • Data Ledger Summary Report: Summarises reconciliation results to expose data quality issues, failed reconciliations, and recurring patterns, accelerating audits and troubleshooting.
  • Replay Queue Summary and Analysis: Analyses replay queue activity to surface bottlenecks, recurring issues and operational trends without manual investigation.

Infor Financials and Supply Management

  • Data Summarisations: Turns filtered list views into actionable summaries that can be shared immediately, with no additional analysis or follow-up required.

Infor LN-based CloudSuite solutions

  • Prompt Management for LN Sessions: Executes reusable generative AI prompts directly from LN sessions against governed datasets, streamlining analysis and keeping results consistent.

Infor M3-based CloudSuite solutions

  • Natural Language Search in H5: Searches M3 data in plain language, generating and running the appropriate query behind the scenes.
  • XtendM3 AI Review: Reviews extension code with AI-generated analysis and recommendations to accelerate development and approval cycles.

Infor M3 Customer Lifecycle Management

  • Activity Notebook Content Generation: Drafts activity notebook content from activity details and prompts, cutting manual documentation effort.

Infor Mobility for Field Service

  • Repair Notes Generation: Drafts repair notes from service assignment data so technicians document work faster and more consistently.

Infor Operating System (OS) Portal

  • Announcement Content Generation: The new Draft GenAI button generates announcement titles, descriptions, imagery, priority, dates and button details with a single click.
  • Announcement Translation: Translates announcement content in one click to deliver localised communications across the organisation.

How it comes together: Infor Velocity Suite

Infor Velocity Suite is how Infor delivers the agentic enterprise. Industry-specific AI agents, process mining, automation, governance and a team of forward-deployed engineers and industry experts come together as one offer, unified by design, with no additional tools or integration projects.

The commercial model matters as much as the capability. Infor Velocity Suite includes unlimited usage because insight should not carry a meter. When every question a user asks adds cost, organisations ration adoption, and rationed AI never reaches the scale where it changes outcomes.

While much of the market measures AI by the number of agents shipped, the measure that counts is whether AI is embedded in real industry workflows and producing results. That is the standard against which the AI innovations in the Infor 2026.10 release are built, and it is how Infor helps organisations move from AI experimentation to AI-powered execution.

To see where AI pays off first in your business, take the Infor AI Opportunity Assessment and get your readiness score and top agent use cases in about two minutes.
