Kurotsuka will be responsible for driving SaaS adoption in the Japanese market and helping to boost customer success and satisfaction
TOKYO – 2 Nov 2022 – Infor Japan K.K. (head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), the Japanese subsidiary of Infor, the industry cloud company, today announced the appointment of Akihiko Kurotsuka as president and representative director for Japan. Kurotsuka will be responsible for driving SaaS adoption in the Japanese market and helping to boost customer success and satisfaction.

Kurotsuka’s IT career spans more than three decades, of which 23 years were honed in management and leadership roles at various Japanese subsidiaries of global IT companies in the areas of business and engineering applications. He is an immediate asset to Infor with a strong background not only in ERP from his SAP experience, but also has a high degree of familiarity with edge solutions, having led businesses at TIBCO Spotfire (BI), Dassault Enovia and PTC (PLM), i2 Technologies (SCM) and Siebel (CRM). He possesses a deep understanding of manufacturing customers, having spent his first 10 years at General Motors’ IT subsidiary, Electronic Data Systems. A versatile leader, Kurotsuka’s career has spanned both the end user and vendor sides across three continents: Asia, Europe and North America.
