Pivotal innovations in workforce management

Infor Workforce Management 7.0 represents Infor’s largest single release of its Workforce Management solution, stretching back to the initial acquisition of Workbrain in 2007. Infor has invested millions in this groundbreaking release, with enhancements and new modular components targeting every industry we serve and virtually every size of business.

The most important factor to note is that we built this release in close collaboration with our customers. Their needs have been the primary driver of where we chose to innovate. Customers also told us that they wanted this new release to stay true to Infor’s design philosophy and platform guidelines. Because we developed the release with native tools, we streamlined future upgrades and improved sustainability. We’re also able to release new enhancements faster.

Customers also told us they want their apps to be scientific and smart. They want to capitalize on new capabilities in machine learning and AI, and they want their WFM solution to work seamlessly with the other enterprise systems they rely on. And they wanted a solution flexible enough to support the use cases of different stakeholders and user roles. They’re also looking for technology that facilitates communication and collaboration instead of being the barrier to more effective ways of working. With WFM 7.0, we’re delivering on those expectations.

The list of new capabilities is too long to post here, but some highlights include biometric verification update capabilities (allowing employees to clock in with their thumbprints), a UX overhaul incorporating more mobility and supporting Infor Go, more industry-specific functionality in time and attendance, and a broader range of platform certifications.

Though Infor WFM 7.0 is a landmark release, the innovation will continue.
