Harnessing the power of workforce management to ease administrative burdens for nurses
Overview
A recent study published in the Journal of Nursing Regulation revealed that approximately half of hospital-based nurses experience emotional exhaustion, fatigue, and burnout on a regular basis. The healthcare industry faces a pressing nursing shortage, but there are healthcare staffing solutions to enhance nurse wellbeing and ensure top-notch patient care. By acknowledging and mitigating the often-overlooked cause of nurse turnover and addressing administrative and staffing issues in healthcare, organizations can make a tangible difference.
To gain a deeper understanding of the organizational challenges faced by nurses beyond their primary caregiver responsibilities, we conducted a nationwide survey of over 1,000 nurses. The results highlighted numerous struggles that can be alleviated through technology, relieving nurses of administrative burdens while focusing on patient care and significantly enhancing nurse retention strategies.
In this webinar, we’ll explore those findings, focusing on three crucial workforce management aspects that are often overlooked when assessing staff wellbeing and satisfaction, and how robust and innovative WFM technology can help:
- Ensure accurate and timely compensation for nurses, a crucial aspect of their financial security and overall job satisfaction
- Ease the administrative load for nurse supervisors, allowing them to prioritize their employees and patients
- Accurately manage and maintain patient and employee safety through Clinical Science
