Gartner highlights trends driving the future state of manufacturing industries

Manufacturing industries are planning for a future that is increasingly impacted by technology trends. According to Gartner, “By 2025, three out of five manufacturers’ smart factory initiatives will stall due to lack of supply chain integration.” Using findings from the 2021 Gartner CEO and Senior Business Executive Survey, Gartner has created an infographic that CIOs can use as a high-level visual to examine key trends and their future impacts.
