State of Idaho deploys first-ever full ERP in multi-tenant cloud on AWS

With Idaho’s population rapidly nearing 2 million, the State Controller’s Office faced a critical challenge: financial and HR systems that were over 30 years old and no longer supported—creating inefficiencies and security risks.

To modernize, the state deployed the first full enterprise resource planning (ERP) suite with Infor CloudSuite™ Public Sector in a multi-tenant, FedRAMP-compliant AWS GovCloud (US) environment. This transformation consolidated 75+ disparate systems and fragmented data across 86 agencies into a single, secure source of truth. The new scalable system delivered real-time visibility, cost savings, and better decision-making—all while supporting the $13.8 billion US that flows through Idaho’s government systems annually.
