An alignment on strategy and a significant expansion in territory were key points of discussion when Joerg Jung, Infor EVP and general manager for EMEA and Asia Pacific/Japan, and Søren Krogh Knudsen, CEO of Columbus, met in Copenhagen recently.

The next step in the strategic partnership and alignment of Columbus’ Focus23 strategy and Infor’s SaaS growth was defined in a joint roadmap to 2025 – The Route 25. Both partners are setting out to quadruple their customer-centric capabilities and industry experts before the end of 2025.

Columbus is a key Infor alliance partner, and the largest independent partner for Infor M3 worldwide. Columbus is expanding its presence in Europe, with a focus on Germany and UK, and is also emerging in the US market. The combination of Infor’s solutions and Columbus’ broad offerings in its 9 Doors to Digital Leadership® portfolio allows customers to speed up their digital transformation and realize the full potential of modern cloud-based solutions.

“Infor M3 is a world-leading ERP system that allows our customers to maximize their industry potential, scale up and have the best experts close to them in the process,” Knudsen says. “Whether it’s about strategy, implementation or support, we have solid competence in digital transformation. Columbus is a global company with an impressive offshore capability. Our strength is that we are close to our customers and can offer them the best possible solutions for their business. Our strategic capabilities make us a trusted advisor during the entire process, from audit and assessment to selection, implementation, integration and support.”

Søren Krogh Knudsen, CEO at Columbus, refers to Columbus strategic capabilities as trusted advisors.

Infor and Columbus now share the goal of increasing their delivery capacity of Infor M3-based CloudSuites to companies in retail & distribution, food & beverage, manufacturing, rental, lease & equipment, and fashion.

“Partners are crucial for Infor’s continued growth, expanding our existing partners to new markets and industries is part of that strategy,” Jung says. “We want to form an even closer, and even more strategic, partnership with Columbus. Columbus wide offer means that customers will have access to the best possible tools and expertise to lead them through their digital transformation. Columbus is an important part of our growth strategy. Together, we can maximize our offering, align our business expansions, enter new markets and broaden our portfolio.”

Joerg Jung, Infor EVP & GM Infor International, says partners are crucial for Infor’s continued growth.
