Cloud enterprise resource planning (ERP) transformations are complex and costly, with challenges spanning planning, deployment, adoption, and long-term optimisation. Traditional approaches often fall short—lacking early engagement and industry-specific expertise—resulting in misalignment, delays, and unmet goals. A new study from Forrester Consulting reveals how manufacturing and distribution organisations using Infor CloudSuite™ overcame these barriers to achieve measurable gains in efficiency and long-term value.
To better understand the impact of Infor CloudSuite, Infor™ commissioned Forrester Consulting to conduct a Total Economic Impact™ (TEI) study. The study, entitled The Total Economic Impact™ Of Infor Industry CloudSuite (June 2025), is based on in-depth interviews with four organisations across manufacturing and distribution that deployed Infor CloudSuite solutions. From Forrester: “The purpose of this study is to provide readers with a framework to evaluate the potential financial impact of Infor CloudSuite on their organisations.”
Key findings
The Forrester study identified substantial financial and operational gains tied to Infor CloudSuite, including:
- 114% return on investment (ROI)
- $10.52 million US in net present value (NPV)
- 70% decrease in revenue leakage through improved financial integrity and insights
- 30% increase in productivity for warehouse and operations employees
- 70% increase in productivity for compliance, audit support, and admin employees
Beyond the measurable results, the study also highlighted additional improvements reported by interviewees. These included reduced downtime, improved visibility and data control, enhanced security, and the ability to shift from manual oversight to more proactive, strategic work.
A chief financial officer (CFO) with an industrial products company supported these findings, saying, “Updating 1.5 million SKUs used to take a month. Now, it’s seamless and takes less than a week, freeing up the master data team for higher-value work.”
