What’s your favourite quote in times like these?
Experience is what you get when you are looking for something else.
What is something positive that you have learned from the current challenge?
When someone now asks ‘How are you?’ they really mean it.
It has been great to have long (Zoom/FaceTime/WhatsApp) conversations and really catch up regularly with friends who we would normally wait to visit.
How have you been motivating yourself during this crisis?
Focusing on providing great conversations - both privately with friends and family - plus publicly with HFTP Europe Hangouts with industry friends and colleagues. Feedback has been very positive.
What’s a new habit that you have picked up – apart from “Social Distancing?“
Going out walking with my wife Maddy - in the forest behind us - which apparently has been there for 30 years.
What particularly impresses you at the moment?
The carers in the NHS - I have a son who is a Dr and have been very proud of his attitude and approach together with his many colleagues.
NZ Prime Minister Jacinda Arden who has shown the world how to govern in a crisis.
