This month marks the following new feature roll-out to users of Infor OS Cloud Edition (CE).
Release Highlights
Enterprise UX
- Cache Last Homepage:
- Replicating the desktop experience, we now cache the last Homepage when navigating away from Homepages in Infor Go.
- Username and Password Save as Part of OS Browser Support During Login:
- Infor Go will now be able to save the username and password at the login screen.
- Choose Authentication Type:
- Administrators can now choose the authentication type available for Infor Go users:
- User Pin and Device Authentication (default)
- User Pin
- Device Authentication
- Administrators can now choose the authentication type available for Infor Go users:
- Option to Use Biometrics or User Pin Authentication:
- After first sign-in, the user will be prompted to select pin-based authentication or device biometric authentication.
- Warning Message When Adding Third Party Application:
- When entering the URL on non-Infor application, we now show a warning message that the application may not load if they do not use https.
- Portal Maintenance Window Messaging:
- Infor customers will now see a temporary placeholder page when an application is under maintenance.
- Portal Outage Window Messaging:
- Infor customers will now see a temporary placeholder page when an application is taken offline unexpectedly.
Intelligent Digital Assistant
- API Fulfillment Request Timeout Handling:
- If an API Fulfillment request times out, the skill execution fails instead of capturing the timeout as a HttpStatus code 408 and allowing Response Conditions to handle it accordingly.
Enterprise Application Integration
- API Maintenance Window Support:
- When CloudSuites (that don’t support zero downtime upgrades) have planned/unplanned downtimes, they can publish start/stop of maintenance mode. During a maintenance mode, if an end user tries to execute the API, the system will send an API response indicating that the CloudSuite is under maintenance.
- Token Management for Infor Apps:
- Access token and Refresh token parameters for Infor authorized apps are now configurable in the registry.
- New Timestamp when Publishing from OneView:
- When publishing from OneView to Data Lake, a new timestamp is generated for the data object.
- Filter & Router Enhancements: Header Values
- Filtering and Routing based on header values has been extended to all document types.
- Inbox Usability Enhancements: Infor Go
- When viewing tasks, alerts or notifications in Inbox on a mobile device, you can now scroll across the whole height.
- Workflow Authorizations in Workflow Modeler:
- In the workflow modeler, the workflow authorizations are now visible.
- Inbox Usability Enhancements: Desktop
- A vertical splitter is available to resize the panes.
- You can click on a message text to expand it.
Data Fabric
- Upload .ndjson to the Wizard:
- Data Catalog now supports uploading ndjson context with .ndjson content file extensions.
- Auto-clear Compass Cache on Purge:
- Purging data objects by filter will automatically clear the Compass cache for that object.
- Atlas: Base-2 Unit of Measure
- Atlas now presents data object file sizes in base-2.
- Compass NULL Experience:
- Compass better helps users identify when dealing with non-existing or NULL contentwith cell highlighting and a NULL value.
